i don't want to a nark,but sliab means mountain and liag is grey basically grey mountain not stone pillars,but stone pillars sounds less boring however as irish is a compulsory subject in irish schools it only works on tourists.Niece photography but these tour guides you have to take what they say with a pinch of salt.
So sorry, but I had no guide, I made that mistake all by myself 😂 I got that translation (and others) from multiple internet sources, but having studied, you’re probably just as good a source. I will say, however, that in researching these sorts of historical linguistics across many cultures and languages, ancient names will often have multiple translations that differ, and often don’t comport with modern lexicon. Thanks for the visit!

There’s some gnarly underwater tunnels if you’re a good swimmer and can hold your breath it’s really fun. They are really close to the bridge under huge boulders.

This is a hidden gem yellow chicken rice restaurant. It’s packed at night. Expect long line and rubbing shoulder with other customers. I recommend takeout if the place is packed.

@@JfCLA The apalachians if am not mistaken begins in canada and go down to the south not just a southern range.The irish part would have broken off from the northern part and the ocean is the gap between don't think there is a submerged range

Top 5 - Shore Dive Sites with Top 5 Snorkel Sites all with a Dive Shop/Bathrooms & Restaurants: 1) Eden Rock 2) Lighthouse Point 3) Turtle Reef (Macabuca) 4) Cobalt Coast (now called Nova) 5) Sunset House. Snorkeling is “Free” of charge at all five locations. String ray City is not part of this list as snorkeling/fins are not allowed plus requires a licensed boat operators fee to visit this government marked area.
The Stingray City rule bout masks & snorkels must be new because we were allowed in January of 2023
